Renewal House was established in 1996 to help families in recovery.  The primary goal of the agency is to foster healing, resiliency and continuing recovery to enhance family health.  However, the reach of Renewal House does not stop when a woman graduates from the program.  Renewal House is a continual resource for families affected by substance abuse.

In response to the ongoing need for flood restoration funds in the aftermath of storms that devastated the greater Nashville area earlier this month, Renewal House is reaching out to current and former clients in need.  Many of our clients and former clients were among those greatly impacted by this natural disaster.

Former clients know that the staff at Renewal House is always available in times of need long after they leave the program. "I did not know where to turn. I had nowhere else to go.  Renewal House helped me get food stamps and helped me learn how to get through the system so I could get housing," reported Mary*, a graduate of Renewal House. "I would probably be on the streets without the help of the Renewal House staff. Renewal House helped me once again get my life back on track."

Please continue to support Renewal House as we help clients and former clients through this difficult time.  Our clients are recovering AGAIN thanks to the support of donors like you!

Renewal House is proud to be a funded partner of United Way of Metropolitan Nashville

“I donate to Renewal House because it makes a very real difference in the lives of women and children in Nashville. It is the only facility of its kind where mothers and children can remain together while mothers recover from addiction and develop the necessary parenting and work skills. By supporting Renewal House, I am contributing to healing and hope in our community.”
---Christine Modisher, General Counsel and Secretary to the Tennessee Board of Regents

I have invested in Renewal House because of the positive impact it makes on our community. Great work is being done there to keep families together and on the road to recovery, while saving taxpayer dollars. Renewal House is a good investment for Nashville.”
---Ken Melkus, Melkus Family Foundation

Freda's Story
"The staff members were so warm and understanding. They guided me and my steps until I could do it on my own. The group therapy sessions were a God send; it provided me with a safe place to peel back layer and layer of often painful, painful stuff but all so necessary for the healing process to begin."
